I have always been fascinated by the colors of autumn, so when I passed in front of the poplar wood near my home, with their vibrant colors in the afternoon breeze, I could not help but photograph it with my iPhone and once I returned to my studio, I redrafted the image trying to release all the energy that came from those colors.
Born in San Gimignano, Italy, in 1955, he studied art and architecture in Florence and then began his work in 1980 as an illustrator, designer and painter. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and in the world and many works are in public and private collections. Shape, color and textures make up the skeleton on which I build my images, or perhaps it would be better to speak of visions or dreams because it all begins and develops first in my mind, more or less unconsciously, and later, much later, he moved on canvas or paper.
